Essential Oils

Essential oils are a highly concentrated natural oil containing volatile aroma compound liquid from plants materials like flower, fruits, leaves, buds, roots, steam, bark, grass, peels, Essential oils are also known as volatile oils.
Essential Oils are usually extracted by the process of Steam distillation. Apart from this there are other process such as Expression, Supercritical CO2 extraction, Absolute oil extraction, Resin distillation.
An oil is “essential” in the sense that it contains the “essence of ” the plant’s fragrance -the characteristic fragrance of the plant from which it is derived.
